BERYL A. HOWELL, District Judge.
The Plaintiff 16th & K Hotel, LP, is the owner of the St. Regis Hotel at 16th and K Streets, N.W. in Washington, D.C. The plaintiff’s plans to expand the hotel to an adjacent lot literally hit an unexpected brick wall, which had not been disclosed on the surveys relied upon in obtaining financing for the construction. In this case, the plaintiff sues the surveyors and the title insurer for over $23,000,000 in damages due to the alleged nondisclosure on the surveys of a party wall with an adjoining property.
