In the present controversy two petitions in error are presented to us for our consideration, one from Franklin county, in which “The Kansas Farmers’ Mutual Fire Insurance Company, of Abilene, Kansas,” is the plaintiff in error, and Lydia A. Amick is the defendant in error; and the other from Dickinson county, in which D. W. Naill and Lydia A.
