'Appeal from a judgment of the superior court for Chelan county, Steiner, J., entered October 3, 1905, upon a trial and conviction of the offense of selling liquor to a minor.

The appellant was convicted of the crime of knowingly selling intoxicating liquors to a minor without the written consent of the parent or guardian, and from the judgment and sentence of the court, this appeal is prosecuted.

The material facts are as follows: Tor some time prior to the 26th day of August, 1905, the appellant was the owner of a saloon in the city of Wenatchee, and was regularly licensed to sell intoxicating liquors by the municipal authorities.
