Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of *1143Ulster County (Bruhn, J.), rendered September 22, 2003, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of burglary in the second degree and petit larceny.

On the morning of January 6, 2003, defendant and an accomplice broke into an Ulster County residence and stole numerous items of personal property.
