Petitioner Stella Olujoke Falae, a Nigerian national, seeks review of a final order of the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) denying her application for asylum, withholding of removal, and protection under the Convention Against Torture (CAT). The petitioner argues that the BIA erred in summarily upholding an immigration judge’s determination that she was not a credible witness and that, therefore, she had failed to establish eligibility for relief. In the alternative, the petitioner argues that the BIA should have allowed her motion to remand based upon new evidence.…
