This action was brought by numerous European insurance retrocessionaires against a Massachusetts based retrocedent, a primary insurer and an underwriter to recover for fraud, breach of contract, and for violations of the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act, M.G.L. ch. 93A, § 11 and the civil RICO statute, 18 U.S.C. § 1964(c).
