The parties were married on June 27,1941, at Evans-ton, Illinois, the home of the defendant. It was a second marriage for both of them. Plaintiff then was 55 years old; defendant was thirteen years younger. At the time of final separation of the parties they were living in a large and well appointed house on Front Street in Harrisburg which plaintiff bought after the marriage. Defendant left the common home on December 27, 1945 with her young son for her accustomed winter stay with her parents in Florida. She has never returned to the Harrisburg home.
