Defendant Nelson Bell was indicted on two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1991, ch. 38, par. 12 — 14(b)(1)) and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1991, ch. 38, par. 12 — 16(c)(l)(i))- Following a trial by jury, defendant was convicted of two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and sentenced to two consecutive six-year terms of imprisonment.
