This is an antitrust case under sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Antitrust Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1, 2, seeking damages under section 4 of the Clayton Act, 15 U.S.C. § 15. The plaintiff, Multiflex, Inc., is a relatively new corporation that manufactures hydraulic hose bundles for use in oilfield drilling equipment. The defendant, Samuel Moore & Co., 1 is a long-established maker of similar hydraulic hose bundles and other technical industrial hoses.
