This is an action for damages for personal injuries sustained by plaintiff as the result of an automobile collision at the intersection of Linwood and Claiborne Avenues in the City of Shreveport, occurring about 12:10 o’clock A.M., October 20, 1955. Plaintiff was standing on the trolley platform or “safety zone” on the east side of Linwood, 79 feet north of the north curb line of Claiborne Avenue at its intersection with Linwood, waiting to board a northbound trolley to take her home from her day’s labor.
