SCHALL, Circuit Judge.

WMS Gaming Inc. (WMS) appeals the decision of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois that it willfully infringed United States Patent No. 4,448,419 and that the patent is not invalid. See WMS Gaming Inc. v. International Game Tech., No. 94-C-3062 (N.D.Ill.March 7, 1997) (WMS Gaming).
