A jury convicted appellant of murder and sentenced him to ten years’ confinement. Appellant timely filed a motion for new trial premised on newly discovered evidence. See Tex.R.App.Proc. 31(a)(1). Appellant’s motion for new trial contains a “Fiat” and a proposed “Order.” See Appendix A (as reproduced from the transcript).
