This putative class-action lawsuit arises out of claims by the County of Nassau, New York (the “plaintiff’ or the “County), on behalf of itself and all other similarly situated Counties in the State of New York, that the seventeen defendants failed to fully remit to the plaintiff hotel taxes that they collected on rooms sold to the public.
