¶1 In this case we consider whether a property owner’s pre-foreclosure-sale remedies for alleged violations of the deeds of trust act (DTA), chapter 61.24 RCW; the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), chapter 19.86 RCW; and the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 U.S.C. § 1692, include recovery of monetary *302damages. We hold that a property owner may recover damages in this circumstance, depending on the specific facts of the case.
