This is a review of a decision of the court of appeals, In the Matter of Guardianship of Kordecki, 85 Wis.2d 420, 270 N.W.2d 421 (Ct. App. 1978), which affirmed an order of the county court denying the claim of the Kenosha County Department of Social Services (county department) against the guardianship account of Richard Kordecki. We reverse the decision of the court of appeals and the order of the county court.
