MEMORANDUM OPINION
HEARTFIELD, District Judge.
Plaintiffs, Naomi and Charles Ryans, sue defendants, Charlene Gresham, Sidney Green, Byron Lyons, the City of Livingston, Texas (Livingston), and the Livingston, Texas, Independent School District (LISD) for false imprisonment and for violating their rights under the First and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution and 42 U.S.C. § 1981 (Section 1981). They seek damages and equitable relief. Gresham, Green, Lyons, Livingston and LISD move for summary judgment. The Ryans move for leave to file an amended complaint. The court grants…
