LOKEN, Circuit Judge.

Alonzo Day was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). The district court 1 sen- teneed him to fifteen years in prison, the minimum mandated by § 924(e)(1), because of his prior convictions for violent felonies. Day appealed, and we remanded for resen-tencing, instructing the district court to assess the constitutional validity of any prior convictions used in imposing the § 924(e) enhancement.
