Respondent, Randall J. Lutz, appeals the extension of a plenary-order of protection entered by the circuit court of Champaign County pursuant to the Illinois Domestic Violence Act of 1986 (Act) (750 ILCS 60/101 et seq. (West 1998)), on October 28, 1998, in favor of petitioner, Michelle Lutz, his former spouse.
