Plaintiff Nahzy A. Buck is a former student at Defendant Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Plaintiff filed this action in federal court seeking relief related to her academic dismissal from law school in January of 2006, after plaintiffs prior state-court action involving her 2001 academic dismissal was decided in favor of defendant.
