—Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Ronald Zweibel, J.), rendered March 25, 1996, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, and sentencing him, as a second felony offender, to a term of 4V2 to 9 years, unanimously affirmed.

Defendant’s suppression motion was properly denied. The arresting officer’s testimony was sufficient to establish probable cause (see, People v Maldonado, 86 NY2d 631). There was no need for the officer to define the term “positive buy” because the phrase has a recognized and accepted meaning in law…
