Ida Cudell Hall and James Monroe Hall were married at Chicago in January, 1911, and two children, now minors, wpre born of the union. On September 27, 1922, Mrs. Hall commenced an action in the district court of Lewis and Clark county, Montana, to secure an absolute divorce on the ground of extreme cruelty. Hall interposed a general demurrer, and when it was overruled .he declined to plead further. His default was entered and on October 5 the court heard the evidence offered by plaintiff (her deposition), and a decree of divorce was rendered and entered in conformity with the complaint. Two…
