This is an action brought by Larry Leaming, a teacher, against Unified School District No. 214, Ulysses, Kansas, alleging wrongful termination of his teaching contract and a denial of due process by failure of the school board to provide a fair hearing as required by law. In this action, the plaintiff sought recovery of damages, compensatory and punitive, and an injunction requiring plaintiff s reinstatement as a teacher and prohibiting the school board from terminating his teaching contract.
