PRICE, J.,
delivered the unanimous opinion of the Court.
A jury found the appellant guilty of securities fraud. The Court of Appeals reversed the conviction and concluded that the term other “evidence of indebtedness”, as used in the definition of security in the Texas Securities Act, requires a writing.
