This is a suit for damages for personal injuries sustained by plaintiff while alighting from a car of the defendant company on Congress street east, in the city of Detroit, after the car had come to a regular passenger stop at the corner of Hastings street, on the evening of January 7, 1909. The case is brought here by writ of error, because of the improper cross-examination of the plaintiff. It is also claimed that the judge did not properly charge the jury
