laDefendant, Brian Massey, now appeals his convictions of second degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm. For the reasons which follow, we affirm defendant’s convictions and sentences.

STATEMENT OF THE CASE

On January 25, 2007, a Jefferson Parish Grand Jury returned an indictment charging defendant, Brian K. Massey, with the second degree murder of Harold Bush, alleged to have occurred on November 24, 2006, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1. Co-defendant, Eric B.
