SANBORN, District Judge.

The plaintiff is a resident of Wisconsin; the defendant, a corporation organized under the Federal Farm Loan Act (12 USCA § 811 et seq.), with its office at Des Moines, Iowa. The northeast quarter of section 12, and the north half of the northeast quarter of section 13, in township 101, range 43, Nobles county, Minnesota, is owned by and in the possession of the plaintiff. On January 18, 1923, Henry L. Prideaux, the then owner of this land, and his wife, mortgaged it to the defendant to secure the payment of a loan of $18,000. The mortgage indebtedness was to be paid…
