The defendant was convicted on two counts of an information charging him with kidnaping different young girls, under sixteen years of age, contrary to the provisions of section 207 of the Penal Code. In a third count he was charged with the crime of rape with relation to one of the girls. The jury acquitted him of the last-mentioned charge. Prom the judgment of conviction of the first two offenses and from the order denying a new trial he has appealed.
