Plaintiff Kimberly Trimble brings this action against the District of Columbia, Metropolitan Police Department (“MPD”) Chief Cathy Lanier, District of Columbia officials Janice Quintana and Roque Gerald, four unnamed MPD officers, and Joseph Randolph Mays, alleging a claim under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, common law negligence, a survival action, and wrongful death arising out of MPD’s response to the fatal assaults on Erika Peters, Erik Harper, and Dakota Peters, Trimble’s decedents.
