BERREY, Judge.

Appellant was convicted of operating his motor vehicle in such a manner as to knowingly cause the death of James M. Leach, an off duty sergeant 1 on the Kansas City police force and citizen David Biggers. He was convicted on two counts of murder in the second degree, Counts I and III, and two counts of armed criminal action, Counts II and IV. He was sentenced to life imprisonment on Counts I and III, and ten years each on Counts II and IV.
