The sole issue presented for review is whether the trial court erred by allowing into evidence, over the defendant’s objection, that portion of the transcript of evidence at defendant’s former trial containing the testimony of State’s witness Ronnie Easter-ling, who was not available to testify at defendant’s subsequent trial for the same offenses.
