Appellee-plaintiff sued under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act, 1 2 the Safety Appliance Act, 8 and the Boiler Inspection Act. 3 He recovered a verdict and judgment in the amount of $85,000.-00. solely upon the theory of absolute liability imposed by the Boiler Inspection Act.
