William Anderson brought this action against the Carnegie Steel Company to recover damages for injuries sustained while serving it as one of its employees on January 12,1916. The affidavit of defense averred that the case was within the scope of the Workmen’s Compensation Act of June 2, 1915, P. L. 736; that said act is constitutional and that what is therein provided is plaintiff’s exclusive remedy.
