This was an action of mandamus by the administratrix of the estate of a deceased stockholder in a manufacturing corporation, asking that the corporation be compelled to submit its books of account and books showing its assets and liabilities and its financial condition to examination by a competent accountant, to be employed and paid by the rektrix.
