The appellant, on the 8th day of December, 1898, filed a bill in chancery in the circuit court of Cook county, in which she alleged that an agreement to enter into marriage was made by and between herself and one James M. Pyott, Sr., on the 14th day of October, 1898, and that on the 20th day of October, 1898, they were lawfully married in the city of Chicago, and that they lived and cohabited together as husband and wife until the 21st day of November, 1898, and that on said last mentioned day said James M. Pyott, Sr., of his own wrong and without fault on her part, deserted and abandoned…
