Plaintiff Lakefield Telephone Company claims to be a dealer for defendant Northern Telecom and entitled to the protection of the Wisconsin Fair Dealership Law (WFDL), Wis.Stat. § 135.01 et seq. (1989). 1 After a trial, the district court decided that Lakefield was not a “dealer” under WFDL and Lakefield has appealed. Initially the district court had found a likelihood that Lakefield would prevail and had issued a preliminary injunction.
