Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Tompkins County (Friedlander, J.), rendered June 7, 1990, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of attempted assault in the first degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.
In the early morning hours of March 26, 1989, defendant drove her husband, Albert Vannoy, who was suffering from multiple knife wounds, to the emergency room of Tompkins County Community Hospital.
