OPINION BY JOYCE, J.:
¶ 1 Appellant, Timothy Gray, appeals from the judgment of sentence entered on October 20, 2003 in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. For the following reasons, we affirm. The relevant facts and procedural history are as follows.
¶ 2 On May 13, 2003, the Commonwealth charged Appellant with, inter alia, aggravated assault, simple assault and possessing an instrument of crime 1 stemming from allegations that he stabbed Adeleide Geter in the face and arm with a knife and a screwdriver.
