MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

SHADUR, District Judge.

Georgina Georgevitch (“Georgevitch”) seeks judicial review of a final decision by Secretary of Health and Human Services Otis Bowen (“Secretary”) denying Georgevitch’s claim for widow’s insurance. Georgevitch initially applied for benefits under Social Security Act (“Act”) §§ 202(e), 216(i) and 223 (42 U.S.C. §§ 402(e), 416(i) and 423 1 ), seeking widow’s insurance as well as supplemental security income (“SSI”) and disability insurance.
