State ex rel. Leneghan v. Husted (Slip Opinion)
Ohio Supreme Court
1Per curiam
*60 {¶ 1} Relator Melanie Leneghan was a candidate in the May 8, 2018 primary election for the Republican Party nomination for United States Representative for the 12th Congressional District. Leneghan and her co-relator, Kay Clymer, *61 allege that improprieties occurred during the recount of votes in 16 Muskingum County precincts. They seek writs of mandamus compelling respondents, the Muskingum and Franklin County Boards of Elections and Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted, to certify official election results that exclude all ballots cast in those 16 precincts.
