11 Plaintiff was injured in a motor vehicle accident while in the course and scope of his employment. This appeal arises from *1047the dispute regarding his entitlement to disability benefits and penalties before and after he accepted an unauthorized third party settlement. Prior to the workers’ compensation court’s ruling, the employer filed a motion to strike exhibits attached to plaintiffs post-trial brief.
