The defendants, Travelers Group, Inc., Travelers Property and Casualty Corporation (Travelers Casualty), Travelers Equity Sales, Inc., Travelers Life and Annuity Company, and Solomon Smith Barney Holdings, Inc. (Smith Barney), appeal from the ruling of the trial court, certifying the claims alleged in four-counts of the complaint as a class action and certifying the named plaintiff, Lisa Macomber, as the representative of the class.
