FLETCHER, Judge:

The appellant was found guilty, in accordance with his pleas, of larceny of $13,-598 from the United States, in violation of Article 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 921. On December 19, 1979, he was sentenced to dismissal from the service, confinement at hard labor for 1 year, a fine of $15,000 and additional confinement up to 1 year until the fine is paid.
