In 1922, certain inhabitants and freeholders of Stevens county, owning lands bordering upon and adjacent to the Colville river in that county, organized a drainage district, the object and purpose of which was to straighten and increase the *21depth of the channel of the river named for the better drainage of their lands. As no question is made as to the regularity of the proceedings, it is not necessary to set them forth in detail.
