CARL E. STEWART, Circuit Judge:

Granville Riddle (“Riddle”) appeals from the district court’s denial of his petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 (2001). Because we find that the district court did not err, we AFFIRM.

FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

Riddle was charged with intentionally causing Ronnie Hood Bennett’s (“Bennett”) death while in the course of committing the offense of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit theft.
