This declaratory judgment action concerns a contract between the plaintiff, Kevin C. Sadler, a permanent (tenured) 1 teacher and the Board of Education of Cabool School District R-IV (the Board). The 1990-91 contract covered two subjects: (a) The provisions required by statute to be in the “indefinite contract” of every permanent teacher, and (b) language calling for additional pay for extra and extended duties, i.e., coaching and extracurricular jobs.
