The Westchester Lodge of the Brotherhood of Railway & Steamship Clerks, Freight Handlers, Express and Station Employes (Brotherhood) brought suit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York to enjoin the Railway Express Agency (REA)' from laying off and displacing certain employees at its Ardsley Terminal, and for damages resulting from the lay-offs and displacements.
