The issue before the Court on Defendant’s Demurrer is the all-too-familiar question of whether the Plaintiff has stated a viable cause of action under the exception as articulated by the Supreme Court in Bowman v. State Bank of Keysville, 229 Va. 534 (1985), and its progeny to the Commonwealth’s long-established Employment At Will Doctrine.
