Tbe plaintiff is an importer of horses at Greeley, Iowa. During the period from the year 1904 to January 2, 1908, the defendant Keller and one Thompson were in partnership under the firm name of the Palo Alto *726Stock Farm, though sometimes using the name ‘ ‘ Thompson & Keller. ’ ’ The firm began business in Iowa but later removed to Boise, Idaho. Several business transactions. took place between the parties.
