This case involves a dispute over a franchise agreement between plaintiff CITGO Petroleum Corporation and defendant Ranger Enterprises. On October 7, 1991, plaintiff and defendant entered into a contract for the distribution of gasoline. Plaintiff supplied a specified allotment of gas and defendant was permitted to sell the gas under plaintiffs brand name and trademark. However, the parties’ relationship went sour in 2005 and plaintiff brought suit against defendant for breach of contract stemming from defendant’s re-branding of its gasoline…
