In this jury-waived, court-tried action at law, plaintiff Anna Mae Ryan (Anna Mae), as the named beneficiary under a group life insurance policy issued by The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States (Equitable) to FAG Bearings Corporation (FAG) and affording life insurance coverage on FAG employees, seeks to recover $6,000 on account of the death of her husband, Charles L.
